Photo for today

I was in Rome for a few days in February 2010 for the Six-Nations rugby match between Engalnd and Italy.
It was my first time over there and it will not be my last.
The City was incredible and for someone who appreciates history and architecture it is not to be missed.
Beer is a bit pricey but worth it and the food in the small restaurants is wonderful.

I did take one or two photos while I was there, or maybe 230 ish in three days but I only got to see a small part of the City.
I did the usual tourist bits with a view to catch up next visit when I hope to have much more time.

I'm sure that in today's Rome, if the builders had some plaster left over they would take it back to the Roman equivalent of B&Q but back then they went a bit mad and decided to make a water feature.

There is an ice cream shop just behind where I took this and it was really nice to sit next to the Fontana Di Trevi in the sun, in February, eating ice cream.

Rome.

Go there.
